Davco K11 SuperFlex | Two-component Flexible Cementitious Waterproofing

 

A two component flexible hydraulic micro mortar for the protection and waterproofing of masonry and concrete structures. Ideal for immersed areas such as large swimming pools, reservoirs, balconies and terraces.

Uses / Area of Application

- Reservoirs, water towers, engineering structures, retention tanks, etc. 

- Under-tile sealant for swimming pools (bonded with SikaTile 480 formerly Davco Dustless Premium)

- Under-tile or mortar-covering sealant for balconies and terraces (except terrace roofs) 

- Lift shaft basements, car parks, underground premises, etc. 

- Under-tile sealant for damp premises Protection against: 

- Weathering (engineering structures, silos, concrete, domes etc.) 

- Harmful water (underground tanks, water treatment stations, industrial discharge, etc.)

        Instructions

        Coverage: approximately 3-4kg/sqm per 2 coats

        Product Preparation
        • Machine-mix only at low speed (300 to 500 rpm).
        • Pour 3/4 of the resin into a suitable container.
        • Add the powder gradually in order to obtain plastic consistency.
        • Add the rest of the liquid and mix for another 3 minutes.
        • Leave to stand for several minutes.

        Application
        • If applied by hand: Use brush or roller.
        • Apply a first coat allowing a rough but reasonable quantity of 1.5-2 kg/m2
        • The total thickness of the covering should be approximately 2mm, and never less than 1.5mm.
        • Possible covering materials: It may be left bare, or covered with tiling (bonded using Davco Tiling System) or a cement mortar screed. High-traffic areas should be protected against abrasion. Water tanks and basins can be filled after 7 days drying
